Ashli Allred, Front Desk
I grew up in Utah and moved to the Chicago area in 2012 which is when I started working for Northshore Sleep. I work the front desk, I’m the first voice you may hear when you call in or the first person you might see when walking through our doors. In my spare time I enjoy painting, baking, collecting children’s books and going to comedy shows with my husband. One of my biggest goals is to write and illustrate my own children’s book and get it published.
Jessie Kinyon, Front Desk Manager
Hi! My name is Jessie and I’ve worked at Northshore Sleep Medicine for almost five years. I helped get the center off the ground and then briefly moved to Colorado for a couple years. While in Boulder, my boyfriend, dog and I spent our days outside, skiing and biking around our neighborhood lakes. When we decided to move back to the Chicago, I was so happy to be welcomed back to my old workplace! I’m the front desk manager now and can help you with any payments you’ve made, or any referrals we’ve sent to a third party supplier. When I’m not here, I’m running to and from my graphic design classes at Northeastern Illinois University and playing Just Dance 4 on my Wii.
Corina Luca, Billing
Hi, my name is Corina and I have been with Northshore since 2009, with a maternity break in between. I started off part time as a tech and now I work full time doing what I like most, billing insurance companies and making sure that claims get paid. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and two sons, going to the park and swimming pool, roller blading and trying to read a good book.
Giulia Alexandru, Office Manager
I have been with Northshore Sleep Medicine since before the building had bedrooms and was a sleep center. I was here from day one in June of 2007. I started the day before my 22nd birthday. I met Jessie the night we all came in to test the sleep testing equipment and we became friends instantly. I worked as an overnight senior sleep technician for about 2 and ½ years. At that time I personally trained all of the other sleep technicians. I then moved to daytime chief technician (the role Lorraine has now) and shortly after that I filled Jessie’s role as Office Manager when she moved to Colorado. I’ve been office manager now for more than four years and I also oversee the billing now, since we brought our billing in house in August of 2011. I’ve had the opportunity to work with and alongside many wonderful people. I’ve made lasting friendships while working here and Northshore Sleep Medicine is my second home. When I’m not at NSM, I’m spending time with my mini-me, Cassie (my nine year daughter) and my two toy Yorkies, Pupcake and Chocolate Chip.
Lorraine Rodriguez, Chief Technician
My name is Lorraine and I have been in the medical field since I was 19. I worked at Gottlieb Hospital while attending classes at Westwood College. In 2002 I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design. I never pursued it because the more I worked in the medical field the more I fell in love with working with patients. I started working at NSM in 2008 as a night tech and eventually made my way to chief tech working mornings in 2010. On a side note, I love photography and will try and capture a shot that looks appealing to the eye. I don’t have children, but my pride and joy are my nieces and nephews and I’d say that’s close enough.
Dana Chirila
Hello. My name is Daniela “Dana” Chirila, I have been working as a clinician at Northshore Sleep Medicine for the past five years where I enjoy working with patients and being part of this health care team. Together with my family, I emigrated from Romania in 1991. Like every young lady back then, I looked forward to the future with a goal of doing something with my life that I would love and that was working with people. Now married for 19 years and as the mother of four children, I know the importance of family values, of being devoted and always have a positive attitude. Outside of NSM, in my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going places and doing things together as a family. My hobbies are gardening and playing guitar. I am part of 70×7 Worship Group at Philadelphia Romanian Church of God where together with my family we serve and attend on the weekends. Being able to give a helping hand or good advice and to share a positive attitude means a lot to me. A smile in return will make my day.
